The Connecticut Department of Health has a long list of critical educational initiatives every year, centered around helping and elevating the stature of people living with a variety of health challenges. For more than a decade, we've created compelling campaigns that reach often underserved audiences, giving them vital information and motivating them to take action in their own best interests. Past campaigns cover topics including anti-smoking, HIV-testing, asthma, lead poisoning, emergency preparedness, healthy babies and many more. It's challenging work. But also some of the most gratifying we do, helping improve and protect the health of vulnerable people throughout the state.
